How Does It Work?

Three Steps To End User OVH Notifications

Sent

Using the email templates inside WHMCS the OVH Notification module sends the relevent customer the correct email template notifying them of the event. All email templates can be changed to include any additional information you wish the customer to see

Notification

OVH sends you a DDoS Notification, Port 25 block notification or other compatible notification and the OVH Notification module matches the IP in the email to the IP in the customers WHMCS account

Assign
IPs

Your customer is using an OVH IP, this could be an IP for a OpenStack VPS, Cloud VPS, Dedicated Server or even a self hosted VPS if your using SolusVM or other hyper-visor. It doesn't matter what service the customer uses as long as the OVH IP is listed in the "Dedicated IP" or "Assigned IP" fields inside WHMCS

Compatible Notification Templates

Anti-Hack Notifications

The end-user is notified if their IP is ever null-routed preventing connections to that IP

DDoS Attack Detected

When a service is under a DDoS attack your end user will get a notification when the attack starts

DDoS Attack
Ended

When a DDos Attack can no longer be detected the end user will be sent an email saying the attack is over

Spam
Detected

If a port 25 block is added to any IP, the end user is sent a notification advising of this with a list of spam emails

Server
Installed

An OS has been installed to an OVH VPS or Dedicated server the root credentials are sent to the end user

Server
Rebooted

On reboot of an OVH Dedicated or VPS server the end user will receive a reboot notification

Rescue Mode
Activated

When rescue mode is activated your end user will receive a notification with the access details

Offline

Should a server go offline and OVH Monitoring is active your end user will be notified of this

Online

If a server has previously been marked as offline then comes back online your user is notified
